SOUND THERAPY: What Does Sound Therapy Do?
Sound Therapy improves:
- Attention and Focus
- Self-Regulation
- Auditory Processing
- Sensory Processing (Sensory Integration)
Sound Therapy uses electronically altered music or specifically designed rhythmic patterns to create lasting changes in the way the brain processes information. Sound Therapy Programs are designed individually for each client. In Sound Therapy, the client listens to prescribed compact discs at home for three to six months. During the Sound Therapy process, Ms. Starseed provides Habit of HealingTM Parent Coaching/Life Coaching to enhance the effectiveness of the Sound Therapy. Sound Therapy can be used to support other therapies such as speech, vision, and occupational therapy.
